Comprehensive Optometrist
Dr. Mimi Phan received her bachelor's of science degree in physiology and neuroscience with a minor in psychology at the University of California, San Diego. She continued her education at the University of California, Berkeley, where she received her Doctorate in Optometry. She went on to complete a residency at the Long Beach Veteran's Affairs hospital with emphasis in low vision rehabilitation, ocular disease and complicated contact lens fitting.
She is TPA and glaucoma certified. Dr. Phan is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. When Dr. Phan has free time, she likes to experiment with new recipes in the kitchen, knit, crochet, hike, go to the beach in the summer and snowboard in the winter.
