Newport Beach optometrist Dr. Lee graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry in 2002. His clinical experience includes externships at Travis Air Force Base, Kaiser Permanente, and the Oakland VA hospital. He spent over 9 years working as the Director of Clinical Care and Research at Pacific Vision Institute in San Francisco where he specialized in dry eye syndrome, cataract and refractive surgery care, and diseases of the cornea. He has been involved in many published studies in refractive surgery and regularly contributes to Review of Optometry magazine. Dr. Lee then returned to Southern California where he grew up. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art.
In his spare time, Dr. Lee plays the guitar, watches ice hockey, draws his own cartoons, swing dances, and spends time with his wife and two children. He is very excited to be part of the Atlantis Eyecare team as a skilled optometrist and is ready to provide quality care to his patients in San Pedro, Newport Beach and surrounding areas.
