Comprehensive Board-Certified Ophthalmologist, Cataract Specialist & Cataract/Refractive & Cataract Surgeon
Dr. Kim grew up in Los Angeles and attended the University of Southern California on a full scholarship, where she studied Psychobiology and Art History. She then continued to medical school at the Keck School of Medicine of USC where she discovered her interest in ophthalmology while working as a research fellow in neuro-ophthalmology with Dr. Alfredo Sadun. After an intern year in internal medicine at LAC+USC, she completed her training at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine Ophthalmology residency program. She returned to Los Angeles to work as a comprehensive ophthalmologist. Her interests include dry eyes, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, and making ceramics.
Dr. Kim is very detailed and an outstanding listener to make sure she gives all her patients the best eye care possible.
