Comprehensive Optometrist
Dr. Mailan Tran is a California Board licensed optometrist in Anaheim who is dedicated and trained to provide the highest quality of optometric care. Her diverse optometric experience has allowed her to treat and co-manage glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and a vast variety of ocular diseases. Dr. Tran’s background includes co-management of ocular diseases, ocular surgery, refractive surgery, and cataract surgery.
Dr. Tran received her bachelor’s of science degree in Biology, while attending the University of California, Irvine. She then went on to obtain her Doctorate of Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry. Her experience as an intern has allowed her to provide a broad spectrum of eye care for her patients, helping her be among the most comprehensive optometrists Anaheim and the surrounding areas have to offer. Her intern rotations placed her at various locations including The Illinois Eye Institute, Palo Alto VA Hospital, and the Mount Ogden Eye Center. Upon completing her studies at the Illinois College of Optometry, she is proud to join the Atlantis Eyecare Group to continue her dedication to provide patient with an excellent experience while receiving quality eye care in the Southern California communities.
Dr. Tran is fluent in Vietnamese.
