Comprehensive Optometrist
Dr. Dat T. Do is a top optometrist in Orange County dedicated to serving Orange County and Southern California for over 8 years.
In addition to his optometric degree from the Illinois College of Optometry, Orange County optometrist Dr. Dat T. Do did an additional fellowship year in ocular pathology and refractive surgery at the Omni Eye Services. His broad optometric experience includes his current position as a Clinical Adjunct Professor at Southern California College of Optometry. Prior to joining Atlantis Eyecare in Orange County, Dr. Do was an optometrist and Clinical Director at the TLC Laser Eye Center (formerly Pacific Laser Eye Center) and a Clinical Instructor at Omni Eye Services. He is a member of the American Academy of Optometry AAO and regularly contributes to various AAO-sponsored eye care journals and presentations and lectured in the area of co-management of refractive surgery, glaucoma and dry eye. Dr. Do is credentialed to treat glaucoma.
Aside from his regular duties as an optometrist in Orange County, Dr. Do has done volunteer eye care in Peru and Vietnam. In his spare time, he enjoys waterskiing, snowboarding, rock climbing and training for marathons. Currently he is involved in raising and training Damita, an assistance dog, for Canine Companion for Independence.
Dr. Do is fluent in Vietnamese.
