Dr. Parisa Jalalat is a California board-certified optometrist with TPA and glaucoma certifications. She has a passion for providing top quality, innovative eye care and a personalized patient experience. She is experienced in performing comprehensive eye exams, treating ocular diseases, dry eye, co-managing ocular surgeries, and fitting contact lenses.
Dr. Jalalat grew up in Houston, Texas and completed her undergraduate training at the University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and minor in Biology. She then moved to south Florida where she received her Bachelors of Science in Vision Science and Doctorate of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University- College of Optometry (NSUCO). Dr. Jalalat completed her rotations at Walter Reed Military Hospital in Bethesda, MD, and Eye Centers of South Florida in North Miami Beach, Fl.
Dr. Jalalat enjoys giving back to the community and has performed optometry mission work in underserved populations in the Dominican Republic. Her personal interests include yoga/ philosophy, traveling, biking, hiking, photography and spending time with her family and puppy.
Dr. Jalalat is fluent in English, Farsi (Persian), and basic conversational/ clinical Spanish.
