Dr. Michael Walcott is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who has seen and done it all in the eye care field. Dr. Walcott has been practicing medicine since 1952 and has been serving the patients of Laguna Hills area for over 38 years. Dr. Walcott is well respected throughout the ophthalmology field and he continues to serve his patients with the best care.

Dr. Walcott is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Canada where he received a BS in Science Premedical. He also completed his medical degree at McGill University where he finished 8th in his class. He did his internship at the Reddy Memorial Hospital in Montreal, Canada and two years in Ophthalmology at the Montreal General Hospital prior to completing his ophthalmology residency at Edward Harkness Institute of Ophthalmology of Columbia; Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, New York

Dr. Walcott is a member of the Orange County Medical Association, the California Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. His ophthalmology medical associations include; Research to Prevent Blindness, Orange County Society of Ophthalmology, California Association of Ophthalmology, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He was granted fellowship in the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in 1972.
