Donald R. Teshima, O.D.

Upon graduation from the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Teshima entered private practice with his father, Dr. Roy Teshima, in 1975. He became a clinical faculty member of the Illinois College of Optometry in 1976, and soon attained the status of Assistant Professor. In 1982 he was named Associate Director of Clinics and off-campus facilities.

In 1987 he was recruited by A.J. Marchin, O.D. for the FHP Health Maintenance Organization. FHP eventually became Talbert Medical Group from which Atlantis Eyecare was born. Dr. Teshima has remained an integral part of Atlantis Eyecare since it was established.

Dr. Teshima has been married for 20 years and has 3 children. He enjoys spending time with the family and watching sports.
