Ayaz Khan, D.O.

Dr. Ayaz O. Khan is a comprehensive eye surgeon and physician with a subspecialty interest in medical retina. He completed his undergraduate at UCLA where he received a B.S. in Physiological Sciences. He completed his medical degree at Western University's College of Osteopathic Medicine. There he received the Asian American Scholar Award for academic and professional excellence. Dr Khan completed his ophthalmology residency at Saint John's Episcopal Hospital/Interfaith Medical Center in Queens, NY. During his ophthalmology residency Dr Khan served as Chief Resident and won awards at national ophthalmology meetings for scientific presentations.

Dr Khan is trained in the latest microsurgical and ophthalmic laser techniques. He treats a variety of ophthalmic disorders including cataracts, glaucoma, wet macular degeneration, and diabetic retinal disesases. Dr Khan also performs cosmetic eye procedures including eyelid revisions (blepharoplasties) and botox injections.

Dr Khan is a strong advocate of LASIK, premium lens implantations, and other ophthalmic procedures that allow patients to be less dependent on glasses. He looks forward to discussing these options with you.

Dr Khan is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology, and American Osteopathic Association.

Dr Khan is married and has three beautiful children.
